Project Overview
LH Electrical completed an integrated solar PV, battery storage and electric vehicle charging installation designed to help a homeowner generate, store and manage electricity more effectively.
The installation combines roof-mounted solar generation with a Tesla Powerwall, Backup Gateway and dedicated EV charging equipment.

Generating and Storing Solar Electricity
The solar PV system generates electricity during daylight hours.
The Tesla Powerwall allows compatible excess generation to be stored for use later, helping the homeowner make greater use of the electricity generated at the property.
Backup Power During Electricity Outages
The Tesla Backup Gateway supports the system's backup functionality, allowing the configured home installation to continue supplying electricity during grid interruptions, subject to system capacity and operating conditions.
Combining Solar, Battery Storage and EV Charging
By bringing together solar generation, battery storage and EV charging, the installation provides a more integrated approach to home energy management.
